Having to answer one of man’s greatest mysteries: do we really want what we want? The latest production of the Lilliputian Gang, for the first time directed by Disguido, which will take you into the world of exhilarating illusion, cheerful science, and “Scientific” fun. A show for all scientists, young and old, ready to be amazed with laughter.

Disguido’s conference was born above all from the desire to share their experience with colleagues.

They are travel notes that allow us to investigate the construction of numbers and characters, which explore the intimate part of illusionists with a sense of “omnipotence and

fragility” to the relationship of trust with the public.

The conference develops through the presentation of original effects and ideas that are easily adaptable to the most diverse needs.

A journey together with Disguido to discover an ancient and magical instrument of representation, the Chapeaugrafie. You will go through the 5 phases of building one

performance from idea to staging.

The first part of the workshop is aimed at understanding the Chapeau Tabarin, from its history to the acquisition of techniques to be able to use and become familiar with

the object so as to learn how to manipulate it:

– Classic character hats

– Original hats and figures designed by Disguido

– Space for imagination, there is always something new to invent…

The study on the communicative potential of the objet trouvé applied to the language of visual communication will be explored in depth

the decontextualization of an object as a stimulus to open new and original horizons of our imagination, the manipulation of the invisible through the use of the

Lecoq as a tool to generate gestural and visual illusions by exploring and enhancing expressive skills related to non-verbal language and gags in visual comedy.

The second part of the workshop is aimed at constructing a number through the use of theatrical techniques, improvisation, bodily expression and use of the voice.

The importance of contamination on the scene in order to make the best use of every type of discipline and inclination that represents us. The awareness of what

we are and what are the aptitudes of each one in order to concentrate and channel the best of what we can represent.

In this second part there will be the possibility of analyzing existing performances and the ideas of the participants.
